The Ivy Exeter Devon

For the new Ivy brasserie, located in the heart of Exeter, our task was to create a series of bespoke wallpapers for the walls and ceilings of this grade 1 listed space.

The grand ceiling coffers were the perfect opportunity for a delicate gold leaf tile. Whilst our Exe wallpaper design wraps the dining area with watery botanicals and native wildlife of the neighbouring River Exe.

The ladies powder room, with its double height ceiling, allowed for flamboyant english garden design. Native flowers weave around tall pergola trellis whilst opulent roosting birds perch throughout the foliage.

The Exe Room, an intimate private dining space, is largely inspired by the River Exe and accompanying botanicals and aquatic life. Oversized Carp, Tench and Trout glide across the ceiling.
Framed classical garden statues hang on the panelled walls, wrapped with delicate butterflies and trailing vines.
